Photogravure, a truly continuous tone photographic intaglio process, produces rich, velvety blacks as well as soft, infinite gray values, that has attracted artists and photographers for more than a hundred years. Osterburg practices the 19th century process of dust grain copperplate photogravure in the tradition of Fox Talbot and Karl Kliç.
